“Indigenous Connections” Workshop Series

Facilitated by: Steven Seegerts (Urban Aboriginal Ministries)

What: A series of 12 workshops, hosted at TGUC,  2x/month

In a spirit of reconciliation, these workshops are intended to:

• foster interaction between Indigenous and non-Indigenous people, enabling relationships and trust and solidarity to be formed
• increase awareness and understanding of Indigenous culture and spirituality

When: Alternating Tuesday afternoons 1-4pm, starting May 10th

Where: Trinity-Grace Sanctuary, 803 E.16th Ave, Vancouver 

Format: Indigenous crafts (drums, dream catchers, etc) with guest speakers/elders offering cultural teachings, followed by a social time with refreshments. On May 10th, we’ll be starting with drum making.

Cost: FREE (The workshops are being supported by grant funding)
