International Day for Disaster Reduction

   The U.N General Assembly first observed this annual event October 13th, 1989 to promote a global culture of risk-awareness and disaster reduction. Exposing natural and unnatural disasters to reinforce actions that need to be taken in the face of global climate change.

Bad situations only get worse without better disaster management.
